Why We Were Founded
After decades working in law firms across multiple practice areas, Helen Pendarvis saw a pattern: firms needed skilled paralegal support but couldn't always justify the cost of full-time staff. Individuals and small businesses needed help with important documents but didn't know where to turn.
Simply Paralegal Services was created in 2014 to bridge that gap — offering the same high-caliber support that larger firms enjoy, delivered virtually and affordably.
The Founder
Helen Pendarvis
Helen Pendarvis earned her Master of Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, combining advanced legal education with practical, hands-on experience. She began her paralegal career in 1994 and has since built an extensive background across multiple areas of law.
Her experience includes Family Law, Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law, in-house corporate work, volunteer legal services, and paralegal Guardian ad Litem work. This diverse background gives her the ability to understand the unique demands of each practice area and tailor her support accordingly.
In 2014, Helen founded Simply Paralegal Services to bring her decades of experience to a broader audience — helping attorneys, individuals, and small businesses get the professional, organized support they need without the burden of traditional staffing.
